Amalthia Beach Resort, in 2007 undergone radical refurbishment, is located 9km west of Chania, on the sandy beach of Agia Marina.

Rooms and suites are modern, spacious and comfortable. Attention to detail, design, trendy finishes add magic to these and their balconies and terraces with views to the sea or garden areas.

Take in the sun on the clean and sandy beach of Agia Marina (‘Blue Flag’ award) or swim to the protected islet of Thodorou, home to the traditional Cretan goats, the Kri-Kri. The beach of Agia Marina is ideal for families as it is shallow for approximately 30 meters.

Priority has been placed on making the rooms and suites comfortable with touches of grace and glamour. All rooms and suites have plush beds, comfortable couches and pleasing balconies and/or terraces. Bathrooms have a magical combination of marble, mosaic, glass and wood. Modern, neat and trendy lines, light wood and silver furnishings with fine finishes, all compliment the desired design and décor.

While special emphasis has been placed on space optimization, functionality and comfort, the atmosphere is calming, relaxing and refreshing.

Wonderful outdoor area, near the swimming pool and just steps from the beach, this restaurant serves International, Greek and Cretan dishes. Open from 10:00 am till late. The pool bar, with large satellite TV, serves refreshments and light snacks.
